Chris Franklin is a Certified Financial Planner based in Mount Pleasant, SC, where he lives with his wife, four children, and two dogs. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Chris built his early career in finance and commercial real estate before taking a meaningful detour into the nonprofit world — relocating his entire family twice to Scotland to focus on financial counseling and financial literacy education. Those experiences abroad deepened his belief that sound financial guidance can genuinely change lives, and they remain central to how he approaches his work with clients today.
After returning from Scotland in 2022, Chris and his family put down roots in the Lowcountry, where he now focuses exclusively on comprehensive financial planning and investment management. His path from Arizona real estate to international nonprofit work to coastal South Carolina has given him a perspective on money, purpose, and planning that few advisors can offer.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Chris at the beach with his wife and their two dogs, cheering on the Wando Warriors HS Varsity Soccer, or making the trip to Williams-Brice Stadium for Gamecock football — with the occasional visit to Clemson’s Death Valley thrown in, in the spirit of keeping the peace in a house divided.
